Jalandhar, 27th April 2025 – A highly informative and engaging Thyroid Cancer Symposium 2025 was successfully organized by Shrimann Superspeciality Hospital, Jalandhar, in association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Jalandhar Chapter, under the esteemed auspices of the Punjab Medical Council.
The symposium brought together a distinguished panel of national and state-level faculty who delivered insightful lectures on Thyroid malignancies and discussed the latest advancements and emerging trends in the diagnosis and management of these complex conditions. The academic sessions were rich in content, reflecting the evolving landscape of Thyroid Cancer Care and the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration.

The Symposium was inaugurated by Punjab Medical Council Observer Dr SPS Sooch, Civil Surgeon Jalandhar Dr.Gurmeet Lal, PMC member Dr Raman Gupta, IMA & ASI Jalandhar Chapter Presidents Dr.MS Bhutani & Dr Rupinder Bhargava along with Directors of Shrimann Superspeciality Hospital. Four CME credit hours were awarded by the Punjab Medical Council to all registered participants.
The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Amit Gupta Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon and Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma Cancer Surgeon, whose vision and commitment ensured the success of the symposium.
