Dr.Kusum Thakur has rich experince of more than 25 years in the field of Transfusion Medicine. She has worked as faculty in Transfusion Medicine in Govt Medical College, Patiala & MMIMSR, Maulana, Ambala. She has also worked as Deputy Director at Punjab State AIDS Control Society, Chandigarh. She has also been appointed as Professor of Practice by Chandigarh University. She has three National Awards and one State Award to her credit and she is President of Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immuno-Hematology (ISBTI), Punjab Chapter. She has published two text books one for Clinician as Associate Editor and one for Medical Labarotary Technologist as Chief Editor. She is member of ISBTI, IMA & AATM.
