Dr. Shubha Sharma is heading Department of Anaesthesia & Critical Care. She has a rich experience of 27 years in the field of Anaesthesiology & Internsive Care. She did her MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai in the year 1984 and later did her Post Graduation in Anaesthesiology from the same institute in 1987. She has done PGDHHM (Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital & Healthcare Management) from Symbiosis Institute, Pune in 2014. She has also obtained IFCCM (Indian Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine) in Feb 2016. In 2017, she has also successfully completed the FCCS Instructor Course conducted by the Society of Critical Care Medicine of America.
She has got vast experience in administering anaesthesia to sick patients and ICU management by working as Senior Resident for three years in Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi and M.O. in E.S.I. Hospitals, Delhi for 6 years. Since 1997 to 2005, she worked as an independent Consultant Anaesthetist in various hospitals of Jalandhar. She worked as Chief Intensivist and Senior Cardiac Anaesthetist at Shriram Cardiac Centre from 2005 to Feb 2018.
She was honoured as the President of ISA (Jalandhar Branch) and ISCCM (Jalandhar branch). She is also member of the IACTA and has been regular invitee in the annual conferences and workshops organized by ISA & ISCCM.
