Dr. Wadhwa has worked in various cancer centers like Oswal Cancer Hospital, Ludhiana, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and Institute of Pathology (Now National Institute of Pathology), ICMR, New Delhi. He has advanced training on leukemia diagnosis using immuno-phenotyping by flow cytometry, hemoglobinopathies using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and hemoglobin electrophoresis, coagulation studies like factor assays, mixing studies, platelet function tests, platelet aggregation studies, natural anticoagulant assay. He has also established cell block preparation from malignant effusions and positive fine needle aspirates to help the oncologist reach a definitive diagnosis in a shorter possible time.
Dr Sanjay Wadhwa is a certified NABL Internal Auditor by National Institute of Training In Standards (NITS), Noida. Patel Hospital Laboratory will be the only laboratory in the whole region to be accredited by National accreditation board for testing and calibration laboratories (NABL).
